Founders Story
Engineering Background
Years spent in engineering, working in plastic injection tool design for the automotive industry and product design for a vacuum manufacturer. Built a strong foundation in systems, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
A Season of Change
After an unexpected job loss, I leaned heavily into prayer and asked God for clear direction. That season of seeking opened the door to something I had never planned.
Entry into Logistics
Began working in auto transport under another company. Learned the business through cold calling, customer development, and taking on increasing responsibility while staying extremely busy.
Rapid Growth & Stronger Standards
In a short period of time, generated three large customers that kept operations consistently busy. Used that momentum to tighten COI coverage requirements and raise protection standards across every load.
Seeing the Gaps
Took on nearly every role as a business owner would and quickly saw the same recurring problems: weak communication, inconsistent processes, and little desire from leadership to improve long-term systems.
Founding of SparkLink Solutions
Started building the company after a major life change. Went all in on the belief that this industry can be run with more integrity, clearer systems, and stronger relationships. God provided a way forward when I had very little, and that provision became the foundation of SparkLink.
Official Launch
Launched SparkLink with improved processes in place. A loyal customer supported the transition while the original values of honesty, accountability, and service remained the foundation.
Building the Network
Shifted growth toward building real relationships with customers and carriers through personal conversation, consistent communication, and making the experience simple. Continued to grow through referrals and proven performance.
Where We Are Today
Continuous improvement never stops, whether on the backend systems, the customer experience, or the carrier side. The focus remains on doing what's right for every party involved and staying true to the same core principles.
